Having passed (not too often) in this district, only in 2018 I decided to really travel to Viseu district.
The decision was taken after seeing a few pictures of interesting places, to confirm them in location. Viseu is a classical city, champion of roundabouts, but is was nice to discover São João de Tarouca, Tarouca, Manhouce, Frecha da Mizarela and Santa Cruz da Trapa, before a night in Termas de São Pedro do Sul (and one hour searching the hotel in São Pedro do Sul), to visit Lamego in the morning. Penedono and Trancoso, from where Tito brought some nice pictures, were out of the way, what was great, because it demands another trip to the region. |
